Saw this guy perform in Everett many years ago and even got to meet him afterward... immediately became a fan. This video literally gives me goose bumps. Jason Webley is such an awesome performer and great guy all around!

When I was 16 I was downtown wandering around as truent high schoolers are want to do and me and my friends came apon a man playing accordion on the street corner wailing in this gravely yet angelic voice we stayed and watched for a long while than this fascinating man packed up his accordion and asked us what their was to do in that town we replied absolutely nothing Spokane SUCK'S but he was undeterred surely their must be something so I mentioned this abandoned factory with these huge tower's on the side halfway up or halfway down depending on who you ask, in giant letter's was spray painted BILLIE ❤️'S LISA so of course everyone called it the Billie loves Lisa building so we walked with this cool down to earth guy to the building and explored the giant structure it was allot of fun than we came to the spiral staircase nobody wanted to go up beside's me and this amazing accordion man we sat at the top able to see for miles or so it seemed to me talking about everything and nothing I was only 16 so this day/night made a huge impression on me I own 4 of his CD's but mostly just listen to his stuff on RUclips anyway I can attest to the fact that Jason Webley is really cool nice funny winning smile that melt's you like a snowball in a volcano and so down to earth he didn't act like some famous accordion god he was just a chill ass dude leading these high school kids on an epic adventure but it wasn't his music as great as it was that made the biggest impression on me it was how on my level he was at no point did I feel star struck or like I was below him in anyway I was just having an adventure after a great show winding down to a really nice evening with the most interesting man I'd ever met with city lights below and sparkling stars above anyway I listen to his album against the night most every night in bed Jason Webley is a phenomenal musician and unlike most extremely talented successful musicians he hasn't let his fame go to his head he is and always will be my 2nd favorite musician 2nd only to the extremely talented Lady day herself Billie Holiday if it weren't for her gilded pipe's he would be my very favorite this guy is talented with a capital T
